So far, the power agencies of Chechnya have failed to find the killers of the two militiamen shot dead on November 27. The Republic's MIA sees the main reason of the murder in their service activities.
The local power agents report about their broad-scale actions aimed at establishment and detention of the culprits involved in murdering senior lieutenant Myakhdi Khizriev and sergeant Myakhdi Kosumov, whose bodies were found in the Toyota car left in the Parkhomenko Street in Gudermes. The casualties were employees of the Gudermes ROVD (District Interior Division).
Power agents find remarkable that the gunmen did not take away their victims' service pistols. Both militiamen were shot dead in the back and the head.
"Now, the investigation studies several motives of the murder, first of all, the one related to their service duties," said the source, in whose opinion the killers knew the perished militiamen. In his opinion, the character of wounds confirms this.
A MIA source has also reported that so far power agents have not managed to establish the criminal who shot dead on November 23 in Grozny captain Rosa Almazova, Chief Accountant of the Department for Chechnya of the Federal Control Service of Drugs Circulation.
