"Caucasian Knot" sums up its third photo contest

The outcomes of the third contest of photo works "From civil journalism – to civil action", held by the Internet medium "Caucasian Knot".

The third photo contest was held from September 1 to December 31, 2009. The works were assessed in three nominations. The Board of Experts discussed the works, and awarded the following places to the winners:

Nomination "We aren't slaves" and "Right to vote"

Place One – D. Kaptsov – for the Album "Rally of Imereti Residents"

Place Two – S. Rasulov (senior)for the Album "Right to Vote. Makhachkala"

Nomination "Creation of nature" and "Seven miracles of the Caucasus"

Place One – S. Rogozinafor two Albums: "Beauties of Kabardino-Balkaria" and "Along the Corners of North Ossetia"

Place Two – K. Oganesyanfor the Album "Armenia"

Place Three – S. Shamilovfor the Album "Ashilta Village, Dagestan"

Nomination "Our antiquity and modernity", "Holidays of Caucasian nations"

Place One was shared by A. Ahmednabiev with the Album "Dagestan Etudes" and S. Rasulov (younger) with the Album "Holidays for Footballers"

Place Two – T. Ukolovafor the Album "Dondi-Yurt. Chechnya"

Place Three – K. Baratashvili, Georgia,for the Album "Frescos"

The works by V. Bessarabov "Yashka's Portrait" and "Caravan" from the cycle "Elista" have received a separate encouragement.

The editorial board of the Internet edition "Caucasian Knot" congratulates all the winners and participants of the contest.
