Today, relatives of Ruslan Mutaliev, who was detained on May 7 in Ingushetia, have addressed human rights organizations with a request to puzzle out the situation.
Mutaliev was detained on May 7 in Ekazhevo village, Ingushetia, on suspicion of involvement in illegal armed formations (IAFs). His sister Fatima Mutalieva reports in her appeals addressed to the Ombudsman in Ingushetia, head of the Autonomous Non-Commercial Organization (ANCO) "Mashr" and Chairman of the Public Supervisory Commission of Ingushetia Mutsolgov, M. A., head of the office of the Human Rights Centre (HRC) "Memorial" in Ingushetia Akiev, T. B., and head of the Russian Public Movement (RPM) Chechen Committee of National Salvation (CCNS) Badalov, R. N., that on May 7 at 7 a.m. the house of her parents and brother, located at No. 9 Oskanova St., Ekazhevo village, Nazran District, was surrounded by power agents who rushed into the house, drove everybody out and started searching the premises.
According to Fatima, the agents took away with them her mother and brother - Ms Kopeina, Lyubov Nikolaevna, born in 1955, and Mr Mutaliev, Ruslan Umalatovich, born in 1987.
Relatives of the detainees managed to find out later that they had been brought to the Department of the FSB (DFSB) of the Russian Federation for the Republic of Ingushetia (RI) in the city of Magas. At about 7-8 p.m., Ruslan Mutaliev was transported to the Nazran ROVD (District Interior Division). At 10 p.m. Lyubov Kopeina was released.
As reported by the ITAR-TASS, the search conducted in Mutaliev's house revealed several sub-machine guns, ammunition and plenty of ordnance.
