Two peaceful residents lost in Dagestan at attack on a car

On August 4, in the Sergokalin District of Dagestan, unidentified persons shelled a car with two persons inside.

The incident happened at 4:50 p.m. in the 5th kilometre of the highway Sergokala-Pervomaiskoe. Unidentified persons, who moved in two Zhiguli cars, opened automatic fire on a same model car with two locals inside, and then disappeared.

The 31-year-old driver of the attacked car, a jobless resident of Mekegi village, Levashin District, died in place. His passenger - a woman from Makhachkala, aged 21, died from received wounds on the way to hospital, the "Interfax" reports.

Operative agents are not inclined to refer this attack to members of illegal armed formations. A source in the local MIA explained that, probably, it was settlement of relations between young men, the "Rosbalt" Agency reports.
