The Baku police have started investigating an attack on the well-known sports observer Rasul Shukyursoy (Allahverdiev). As reported by the 4th branch of the Binagadin district police division, currently investigatory actions are underway to reveal the suspect and attract him to responsibility.
The attack on the journalist was committed at night on August 31 in front of Rasul's house in the Binagadin District of Baku. An unknown person wounded him with a knife and disappeared from the place of the incident.
The journalist who is publishing his articles in the newspaper "Team" complained, some days prior to the attack, that he received letters with threats to his e-mail address, the ANS PRESS reports.
