A magistrate judge was brought right from home to the police station to try Irina Kolesnikova, the organizer of the action named "Picket-19" in Krasnodar.
Irina Kolesnikova was detained today while attempting to hold a traditional action "Picket-19" in front of the Administration of the Krasnodar Territory. The organizers of the picket argue that a notification was submitted on time and in accordance with the applicable law. However, the administration and police believe the picket to be illegal.
Policemen drew up two protocols against Kolesnikova: under Article 20.2 (violation of the established order of organizing or holding an assembly, rally, demonstration, march or picket) and Article 19.3 (disobeying to a lawful order of a policeman) of the Russian Administrative Code.
The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports that Judge Kireeva considered the administrative protocols against Kolesnikova right in the room for administrative detainees in the building of the Western District of Krasnodar. The participants of the picket, who came to the building and wanted to act as witnesses, as well as most of the members of the public, were not admitted to the court session.
After studying the protocols, the judge said that she made "an oral notice" to Kolesnikova on both protocols. However, the detainee was not presented with an official document on the outcomes of consideration of administrative cases.
"This is nonsense. The judge arrives in the evening from home and considers the case not in the courtroom and not in her mantle, but in the police building and dressed in the mink fur coat," Irina Kolesnikova told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent. "She passes some 'oral notice', which is not provided for in this case by the law, and then, having promised to draft there, in place, an official document, just leaves the police department and goes home."
