Chechen residents concerned with the murder of seven young women
The murder of seven young women whose bodies were found last week in different districts of Chechnya has caused concern among many Chechen residents. While the investigation of the incidents continues, residents of the republic propose various opinions on their possible causes.

In Chechnya, parents of young men kidnapped by power agents find bodies of their kids in morgue
On December 1, at 3 a.m., the house of the Ilaev family located in Pervomaiskaya village, Grozny District of Chechnya, was surrounded by employees of power agencies. Having rushed into the house, some of them dragged brothers Alvi and Adkhan out of their beds and pushed them into the cars, in which the agents arrived. Others searched the house and took away TV and video appliances.

In the evening on April 10, a picket was held in the Pushkin Square of Moscow in memory of the victims of the "zachistka" (clean-up) committed by Russian troops in the Chechen village of Samashki on April 7 and 8, 1995, during which over one hundred residents were killed.
